What is it?

This awareness course will familiarize attendees with the requirements necessary to comply with the legal requirements of IMDG Code.

Why should I do it?

The IMDG Code states that both shore-side and shipboard personnel should receive training in the requirements governing the carriage of dangerous goods appropriate to their responsibilities and duties. From the 1st January, 2010 details of all training shall be kept by both the employer and the employee. All training records will be made available to the competent authority.

In addition selected personnel have to up-date their training to take account of changes in regulations.
